Job Description
We are seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will be responsible for providing hands-on personal care services, light housekeeping, and meal service assistance to our residents. You will also participate in social-recreational activities and respond to medical emergencies in a calm manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services, including dressing, bathing, and incontinence support
- Perform light housekeeping duties in resident suites and common areas
- Assist with meal service and laundry as needed
- Respond to medical emergencies and follow Care Plans
- Participate in social-recreational activities
Qualifications:
- Completion of provincial Health Care Aid certification
- Registered with provincial health care registry
- Experience in a residential care setting is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
