Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and physically capable Construction Helper to join our team at AR Home Renovation and Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting construction materials, as well as maintaining equipment and performing various tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load, unload and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Maintenance of Equipment: Clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy equipment as required.
  • Site Operations: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades, as well as mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Site Support: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, drilling and blasting rock, and framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
  • Site Maintenance: Level earth to fine grade specifications, pave and rake asphalt, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites.

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift heavy loads, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and hand-eye coordination required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
