Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment that aligns with the teachings of the Catholic faith.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the BC curriculum and integrate Catholic values.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging and respect among students.
  • Provide individualized attention to each child, recognizing and addressing their unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
  • Integrate faith-based teachings into daily activities and create opportunities for spiritual development.
  • Organize and participate in school events, including parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and other community activities.

Requirements



  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Specialization in early childhood education.
  • Strong commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic faith.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
