About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of process deliverables during studies and basic and detailed engineering project phases.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing process design criteria, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing, and specification development in line with project requirements and Ausenco standards.
  • Liaising with other engineering disciplines, across the organization, and with clients to deliver multidiscipline engineering design.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest process technology developments.
  • Managing budgets and resources for process study scopes.
  • Liaising with the Global Ausenco Process Team.
  • Contributing innovation and lean thinking into process designs.
  • Representing Ausenco's corporate image at marketing and conferences.
  • Demonstrating leadership in industry safety protocols.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, or chemical engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in mineral concentrator and/or hydrometallurgical plant design. You should have a proven track record of delivering process engineering projects, with experience in a consulting engineering capacity.

You will be a strong leader with excellent communication and project management skills, able to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with SmartPlant is considered an asset.
