Job Summary

As a key member of the Technical Operations team at Porter Airlines, this role supports the AMOS system with process improvements related to materials management. This includes material handling, procurement, and logistics, as well as process flows, system workflows, scheduler tasks, technical assistance, and organizational configurations and settings.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Technical Operations by providing process improvements and technical support to users
  • Document material management related processes and support training development for end users
  • User acceptance testing and validation of AMOS processes
  • Implement configurations and settings upon request from departments to improve the organizational use of AMOS
  • Provide complex report requirements to ACC teams for development
  • Support department reporting requirements through workflows and scheduler tasks
  • Assist in the implementation of new and updated AMOS programs
  • Participate in regular organizational meetings
  • Actively participate in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations, understanding, complying, and promoting the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications
  • Must have experience working in aviation maintenance material management departments
  • Must have experience with aviation maintenance management software systems, AMOS experience an asset
  • High level of computing and software skills/knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive unit
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and flexible work environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
