Dietitian - Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients. Your expertise in nutrition and dietetics will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans of care for patients with complex nutrition needs
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
- Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid BC Driver's License
