Retail Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team at Freshmart. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring all products meet our quality standards.
- Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, as well as cut poultry into parts and prepare fish and shellfish for sale.
- Quality Control: Weigh meats for sale and ensure all products are accurately priced and labeled.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise and train other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
