About the Role:
The Assistant Store Manager at Fields is a dynamic leadership position responsible for assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and developing a strong team. This role requires a strong communicator with a passion for delivering helpful, positive service to customers and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sales through timely execution of freight, zone-a-grams, ISM, and seasonal counters
• Safely store overstock and review it regularly
• Communicate with the Store Manager regarding out-of-stock positions
• Develop people through understanding and enforcing company policies and standard operating procedures
• Foster team spirit and assist with new hire onboarding and training
• Deliver quality customer service by executing customer service initiatives and maintaining Fields' customer service standards
• Support operational controls by ensuring health and safety compliance and company standards for a clean, easy-to-shop store
• Effectively manage time and delegate tasks to maximize productivity
• Assist with loss prevention

Requirements:
• Exposure to commercial or retail industry
• Strong customer service and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented and strong follow-through skills
