Food Service Worker Opportunity at Homewood Health

Homewood Health, a leading provider of mental health and addiction services, is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Ravensview, a private 75-bed mental health facility in North Saanich.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in a dining room and/or cafeteria setting
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and storing vegetables and fruit
  • Operate dishwashing and pot washing machines, and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff
  • Work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements:
  • One year of food service experience
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to food handling and equipment
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
