Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in a dynamic Order Fulfillment role. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of grocery orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Picking: Receive printed lists of items to be picked, locate and retrieve products from designated areas, and stack them on skids quickly and accurately.
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack skids accurately and efficiently, with a focus on meeting productivity expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous warehouse or order picking experience is essential.
  • Language: Strong English language proficiency in reading and communication is required.
  • Availability: Ability to work all Sundays, Fridays, and preferably Tuesdays, as well as overtime hours as requested.
  • Physical Demands: Being physically fit and able to lift up to 55lbs repeatedly, stand, crouch, and twist without difficulty for 8 hours.
  • Certifications: Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check and own CSA-approved steel toe safety boots.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and punctuality, with a willingness to learn to operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
Benefits:
  • Compensation: $19.00 hourly.
  • Shift Schedule: Evening hours starting at 4pm til 12:30am, minimum 3 days per week.
  • Hours and Overtime: 24-40 hours per week with potential for overtime (up to 2 hours per shift) and paid overtime even if full overtime hours are not required to complete the shift.
  • Career Growth: Potential to be hired as permanent staff and grow into other roles within the company after completing 650 hours.
