Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Evaluate daily performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily activities, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Manage staff, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Determine staffing requirements and resolve issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or store management role.

Working Conditions

  • Permanent position.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
