About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at AYAT MATTRESS MANUFACTURING LIMITED. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create custom garments, including suits, dresses, and accessories
  • Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit
  • Lay out, cut, sew, and press materials to create hats and other accessories
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create intricate designs and patterns
  • Select and modify commercial patterns to fit customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit
  • Design patterns to fit measurements and create custom designs
  • Mark, cut, and sew fabric to create high-quality garments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tailoring or a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
