Job Summary

As a Youth Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising activities, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. About the Role

This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to make a positive impact in the lives of youth. As a Youth Support Specialist, you will be working in a group home setting, providing support and guidance to adolescents and children. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with food preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and data entry
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, including housekeeping and food preparation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to youth

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Physical ability to perform job requirements, including lifting and carrying

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
