C2 Imaging Canada, a leading print and signage company, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Print Production Specialist to join our dynamic team in our production center. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating large format digital printing equipment and finishing equipment, ensuring timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate large format digital printing equipment and finishing equipment, prioritizing tasks based on production management's instructions.
- Review and comprehend work orders, verifying stock inventory and used materials as specified.
- Re-prioritize and respond to changing demands, working effectively under deadlines.
- Understand print work orders and workflow to ensure production meets specifications.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork records, documents, and other necessary records.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations, including housekeeping standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer expectations and company standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a printing environment operating digital print equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a printing environment required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on your feet and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Web Browser based software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
