Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counter Sales Clerk for Vehicle Parts to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a Counter Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient sale and distribution of automotive parts.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve inquiries and issues. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to effectively manage customer relationships and provide solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
  • Process cash transactions and manage inventory control
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received and ensure accurate storage and distribution
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory control and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to resolve customer issues and improve sales and service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in automotive parts and customer service

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage customer relationships and resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and service goals

Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Work site environment may be noisy and require wearing steel-toed safety boots
  • Required to work overtime as needed to meet business demands
