Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kathco Foods Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy kitchen
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and culinary offerings, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs
- Collaborate with our chef and kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
- Ensure that our kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required
