As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school. About the Position

As a School Bus Driver, you'll be responsible for:
  • Operating a school bus safely and efficiently, following established routes and schedules
  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, including assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful transportation experience

Qualifications

To be successful as a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll need:
  • A valid driver's license for at least 1 year

  • At least 21 years old
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks
