About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Structural Engineering Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex engineering calculations for various structures
  • Utilize advanced engineering software for structural analysis and design
  • Review and approve shop drawings and construction phase documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other teams to ensure project success
  • Travel within Canada for site assessments and project meetings
  • Maintain project performance and quality standards
  • Coach and supervise project team members to ensure their growth and development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 8-15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
  • Strong knowledge of project planning and construction phases
  • Experience in design or construction projects, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and other engineering software
