We are seeking a skilled Senior Material Logistics Agent to join our team in Wichita, ADMN / MFG, Learjet.

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the internal and external procurement of parts, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer service levels. You will also be responsible for inventory level requirements within budget constraints, driving continuous improvement through efficient processes and supplier relationships. Your role will involve expediting reception of parts with suppliers above contractual parameters, as well as advising clients on complex problems and solving moderately complex issues in your area of specialty. To excel in this position, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a solid understanding of logistics principles and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Technical College Degree or Bachelor's degree in Operations or Industrial Management, with 2-12 years of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in MacPac, TIMMS, and/or SAP is an asset, as well as knowledge of Excel, Internet, and Lotus Notes. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and optimize logistics operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Industrial Management, or related field
  • 2-12 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MacPac, TIMMS, and/or SAP (an asset)
