About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently and interact with the public in a positive and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items in a safe and timely manner
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Process various CPC products and services, such as Change of Address Notification and Damaged Mail
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Have experience in making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions

Requirements:

  • Have a satisfactory safe driving record
  • Possess a valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
  • Have a minimum cargo capacity of 100 cu ft (2832 liters)
  • Provide and maintain the required automobile liability insurance for the use of your vehicle
