Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Rite Spot Pizza & Steakhouse. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
