Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at DREAM LOGISTICS INC.
Job Summary:The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods, services, and information from point of origin to point of consumption. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling the movement and storage of goods, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics operations
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics-related data
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Experience with dispatch management software and other logistics-related technology
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
