Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our project teams at KSS Finishing & Woodworking Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Estimating

You will prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates, taking into account all necessary materials, labor, and equipment costs. Your estimates must accurately reflect the scope of work and any potential risks or challenges that may arise during the project.

Team Management

As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and subcontractors. This includes ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.

Project Scheduling and Coordination

You will plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion of projects. Effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors is crucial in this role.

Contract Administration

You will prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements. Your goal is to ensure that all parties involved in the project understand their roles and responsibilities and that the terms of the contract are clearly defined.

Quality Control and Assurance

You will establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes conducting regular site visits, inspecting work-in-progress, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
