Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Skyline Furniture Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a dusty, noisy environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work site environment is dusty, noisy, and may involve odours.
