Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Centrifuge Field Service Technician to join our team at NOV. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting centrifuges at various well site locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Service: Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on centrifuges to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with centrifuges, working closely with engineers, rig personnel, and supervisors to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and stakeholders, responding to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnose problems with centrifuges and provide guidance to operators on how to properly maintain equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment maintenance.
  • Adherence to Policies: Comply with all NOV policies and procedures, including safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and correspondence guidelines.
  • Professional Representation: Represent NOV in a professional manner at all times, adhering to our company values and standards.
  • Travel and Site Work: Travel frequently to assigned customer sites and perform work as required, including hotshot requests and equipment installation.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Up to 3 years of oilfield experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Technical Requirements
  • H2S Training: Completion of H2S training.
  • Standard First Aid: Certification in Standard First Aid.
  • Common Safety Orientation: Completion of Common Safety Orientation.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license.
