Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Canco One Stop. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food service delivery
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
    • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions

    • 30 to 40 hours per week
