Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

FRUITICANA PRODUCE LTD. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food safety and handling skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with food processing machines and handling ingredients.
  • You will be responsible for measuring and dumping ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, as well as removing filled containers from conveyors.
  • Manual packing of goods into bags and boxes or other containers is also a critical task in this role.
  • You will assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and ensure that products and packaging are checked for basic quality defects.
  • Cleaning machines and immediate work areas is also an important part of this role.
Requirements:
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods are a part of this role.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
