We are a reputable farm looking for a skilled Agricultural Specialist to join our team. As an essential member, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and productivity of our crops.

Job Summary

This is a seasonal position requiring the successful candidate to work long hours (55-60 hours per week) for extended periods. You must be physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks while standing for long periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Hand-harvest vegetables and pack fruits and vegetables for market-ready products.
  • Fertilize and spray crops as needed to maintain soil health.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
  • Cut horticultural crops using manual techniques.
Requirements:
  • No formal education or degree is required; however, relevant experience is an asset.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, hand-eye co-ordination, and physical stamina.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing weather conditions and crop requirements.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
