Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare in Port Alberni. As an LPN, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents in long term and acute care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Manage medications and narcotics, and ensure protocols are followed.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations and negative TB skin test.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shift times and float between units.
