Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Extendicare (Canada) Inc. in a long-term care setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working approximately 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver health education programs to residents and their families
  • Manage home care cases and provide consultative services regarding nursing practice
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing various procedures
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting an asset
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including a dental plan, health care plan, and life insurance.
