Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at NovaXpress Courier Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS technology.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, arrange travel itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Teamwork: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, and work collaboratively with other drivers and staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and hardworking.
