We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our team at Moneris Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for executing specialist cybersecurity capabilities including data protection and cryptography solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of our data loss prevention program
- Aid our data platform technology partners on data security items
- Provide support to data security audits and escalate high-risk business and technology processes
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of our data loss protection systems
- Support the provision of data protection subject matter advice related to our data classification requirements
- Identify gaps in existing processes and procedures for improvement
- Support data gathering activities for different controls managed within the team for the purposes of reporting metrics and statistics to upper management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a data protection advisor
- Knowledge of data treatment methods including encryption and obfuscation
- Knowledge of data classification and data loss prevention principles
