About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to design and develop websites that meet their requirements
  • Write, modify, and integrate software code to create efficient and effective solutions
  • Maintain and update existing computer programs to ensure they remain relevant and functional
  • Develop and implement website graphics, content, and interactivity
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
  • Research and evaluate new software products and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Program animation software to create engaging and interactive experiences
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure high-quality results
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with database management systems and software development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services and platforms
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles
