Job Title: Letter Carrier

About the Role:

As a Letter Carrier with Canada Post, you will be the face of our company in your community, delivering mail and packages to customers and businesses. This is a temporary, on-call position, but it offers opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery
  • Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers on your route
  • Unload incoming mail and packages at the depot

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Physical ability to lift and carry mail items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Availability to be on-call
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and/or French
