About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Cottage. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet our high standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train new staff members in our kitchen procedures, including sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure we meet our quality control standards.
  • Recruit and hire new kitchen staff, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and ensure they meet our quality control standards.
  • Establish and manage our kitchen budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 5-10 direct reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory.
