AeroBarrier In-Field Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented In-Field Technician to join our team at AeroBarrier. As an In-Field Technician, you will be responsible for applying the AeroBarrier process on residential, high-rise, and commercial projects. Your expertise in operating, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems will be essential in guiding and advising customers and crew members on reducing air leakage in structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the AeroBarrier application process from start to finish.
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical, mechanical, general equipment, and structure envelope faults.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to crew members.
  • Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions and ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Assist with customers' queries and work with job site superintendents and other tradespeople.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • Willingness to continue learning and understanding of advanced principles of mechanical equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to direct crew members and possess a customer-centric attitude.
  • Understanding of building science, particularly as it relates to structure envelope, and proficiency in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to learn AeroBarrier point and click software.
