Job Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Civil Engineering Technician to join our North Bay, Ontario office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the mining and power & water industries, including construction quality assurance monitoring, site investigations, instrumentation monitoring, and water quality sampling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in field assignments such as construction quality assurance monitoring, site investigations, instrumentation monitoring, and water quality sampling
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
  • Conducting laboratory testing
  • Management of field equipment
  • Supporting office work

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Practical field skills and the ability to work with limited supervision in remote locations in variable outdoor conditions
  • Must be able to work quickly and accurately
  • Have strong attention to detail as well as great organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Relevant experience in field data collection in the areas of construction monitoring, site investigations or environmental monitoring will be considered an asset
