About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at IBM Computing in Markham, Ontario. As a key member of our global development teams, you will play a critical role in delivering public and private cloud solutions to help our clients manage, deploy, and monitor machine learning models and other assets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our global development teams to design, implement, test, and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
  • Contribute to the development of our cloud platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud development.
  • Experience with GitHub, Travis, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Unix-based operating systems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with design thinking and human-centered design principles.
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed team and communicate effectively with colleagues across different time zones.
