Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent role.
Job Summary:The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and overseeing daily operations. This includes studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand, planning budgets, and monitoring revenues and expenses.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure smooth store operations.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to meet business objectives.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.
- Organized and efficient with a client-focused approach.
The Assistant Store Manager will work in a retail service establishment with a team of 3-4 people. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent with 35 hours per week.
