Seeking Anesthesiologists for Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre

Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in the region, serving over two million people in 20 diverse communities. We are seeking highly skilled Anesthesiologists to join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.

About the Role

We are looking for Anesthesiologists to cover a range of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Vascular. Our hospital and community-based services are delivered by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff, and volunteers dedicated to serving our patients, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participate in on-call schedule and provide emergency anesthesia services as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • CPSBC Eligible for Full License, CPSBC Provisional, FRCPC, FRCPC Eligible
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
