Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chiropractor to join our team at Primo Healing Centre Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initial Consultations: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Diagnostic and Treatment Planning: Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of patients' pain or discomfort, and implement effective treatment plans using spinal adjustments, manual therapy, and other chiropractic techniques.
  • Progress Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and wellness practices to promote healthy habits and behaviors.
  • Collaboration and Referrals: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, referring patients to specialists when necessary or appropriate.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient care and treatment, adhering to ethical and professional standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in chiropractic care to provide evidence-based treatment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid license to practice as a chiropractor in Alberta, Canada.
  • Liability Insurance: Meet or exceed the minimum standard for liability insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in various chiropractic techniques and modalities.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and biomechanics, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional Conduct: Demonstrate strong ethical and professional conduct, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
