Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

MILER XPRESS INC is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working independently or as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be willing to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods.
