About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Fatburger. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen area is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and other appliances.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
