About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Boston Pizza Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen area is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and perform other general maintenance tasks as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.
