Lead Transportation Engineer

We're seeking a highly experienced Transportation Engineer to lead our team in Markham, ON. As a key member of our Transportation group, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers, preparing designs, plans, and specifications for various transportation projects, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of these projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement transportation solutions that meet their needs. Additionally, you will assist in business development activities, help to establish and maintain client relationships, and participate in training and knowledge sharing programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our team members.

Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in designing and implementing transportation solutions;
- Prepare and review designs, plans, and specifications for transportation projects;
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement transportation solutions;
- Assist in business development activities to grow our Transportation group;
- Help to establish and maintain client relationships;

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience;
- P. Eng. designation with PEO;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software tools;
