About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor in Training to join our team in Kamloops, BC. As a successful candidate, you will work under the mentorship of our experienced Land Surveyors to develop your skills and advance your career.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal surveys for determining property boundaries and natural or human-made features
  • Prepare and maintain drawings, official plans, records, and documents related to these surveys
  • Provide topographic, hydrographic surveys, precise construction layout, 'as-built' surveys, and deformation surveys as required
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality services to our clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or a related field
  • Certificate of Completion from the Canadian Board of Examiners for Professional Surveyors (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience in land surveying and/or construction surveying is an asset
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or survey processing software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel and work out of town when necessary
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
  • Valid driver's license
