Qualifications and Requirements

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled Audiometric Technician to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Grade 12 graduation and one year of experience as an Audiometric Technician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar clinical setting.
  • Recent experience working with newborn infants and their families, clients with a developmental disability, and postnatal women.
  • A working knowledge of computer software for data management systems.
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide client and family-centered care.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in both acute care and community health care settings.
