At HAP Alaska-Yukon, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes and company policies.
- Assist with serving tables, taking food and drink orders, and running food and drinks.
- Organize and set up the workspace before, during, and after each shift, including stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all bar equipment.
- Present menus and recommendations to guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Operate a computerized point of sale system, completing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage areas, including routine washroom checks and restocking of needed items.
- Contribute to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
- Minimum age of 19 years to serve alcohol in the Yukon.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs./23 kg.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
