As a Track Supervisor with CN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight across our network.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our track maintenance teams, including managing a team of Assistant Track Supervisors, supervising track gangs, inspectors, and hyrail operations, as well as enforcing compliance with safe work procedures, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) guidelines, and CN policies and regulations. With regular travel requirements (50%+), you must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress. Salary Range:
$100,000 - $125,000 per year
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure clear communication of track condition and daily production information to senior management in order to make adjustments
• Participate in activities related to derailments and disruptions in service, while working with Transportation and Mechanical to determine cause and future prevention
• Apply collective agreement and company policies by conducting investigations, recommending corrective actions, and responding to grievances
• Manage engineering operations which includes enforcing compliance with safe work procedures, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) guidelines, and CN policies and regulations
