We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spices of Punjab Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our restaurant.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order food, beverages, and kitchen supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure Quality Control Standards are Met: Regularly inspect food and service to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Address Customer Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and report on stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.

What We Offer
